Reporting to the Maintenance Department Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Your role will involve working closely with the supervisor to ensure compliance and optimize production.
Tasks
- Perform various production-related tasks to help your colleagues accomplish their work;
- Perform plumbing preparation, cut boards and all other tasks related to production;
- Maintain basic tools and equipment.
Required qualifications
- Manual labor in a manufacturing environment;
- Having good physical fitness to be able to lift heavy loads.
- $1.50 bonus on the evening shift.
Skills
- Understanding of technical drawing / blueprint reading – an asset;
- Relevant experience in the manufacturing sector;
- Use of measuring instruments, understanding of measurements;
- Safe handling of parts & assemblies as well as basic maintenance of tools/equipment;
- Independent work with quality output;
- Versatility, resourcefulness, autonomy & experience in problem-solving;
- Achievement of daily production targets;
- Maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
