Join the Opening Team at Avenue 18

Avenue 18 is Cobourg's newest destination for exceptional food, craft beverages and indoor golf.

Bringing together a chef-driven restaurant, premium craft bar and state-of-the-art Trackman golf simulators, we're creating a place where people come together to eat, play and connect.

We're looking for passionate Line Cooks to join our opening team and help deliver consistently great food from day one.

Whether you're an experienced cook or looking to continue developing your culinary career, you'll work alongside an experienced leadership team in a brand-new kitchen while helping build the foundation for Avenue 18.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Line Cook, you'll play an important role in preparing and executing our menu while helping maintain a clean, organized and efficient kitchen.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Completing daily prep lists and station setup
- Maintaining quality, consistency and portion control throughout service
- Following all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keeping your station clean, organized and stocked
- Receiving and rotating inventory
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy services




- Assisting wherever needed to help the team succeed

We're Looking For Someone Who

- Has previous kitchen experience
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Takes pride in preparing quality food
- Is dependable, organized and eager to learn
- Works well as part of a team
- Maintains a positive attitude under pressure
- Holds a valid Food Handler Certification

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
