Job Summary

Child of the Wild, Forest & Nature school located in Brighton, is on the GROW and we are in need of a reliable, trustworthy, nature loving Facilitator to lead, guide and teach the generation of children before us. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for nature-based learning and is committed to providing high-quality alternative eduation for children aged 4-12 years old.

Duties

- Work as a team player with our facilitator team to plan and facilitate nature-based programming for children ages 4-12 years old
- Lead groups of children on nature walks, facilitate hands-on activities, and encourage exploration and discovery
- Collaborate with other facilitators to ensure the group dynamic fosters a sense of safety and belonging for all children involved

Requirements

- Education in Childcare (ECE, CYC,



Teacher, etc.) and/or extensive relevent working experience in child care settings
- Up to date First Aid & CPR C
- Transparent Criminal & Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Values the alternative education sector

Bonus Points

- Fluency/partial fluency in French
- Previous experience with nature-based programming or outdoor education
- Certification in nature-based education or outdoor leadership

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
