Role: Senior Cloud Network Engineer

We are seeking a Network Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Cloud Networking, site reliability specifically Azure, AWS and GCP. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing DR strategies with Palo Alto Firewalls, a robust understanding of Azure components including but not limited to Azure, AWS, GCP Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Load Balancers, Route Tables, and DNS Zones, etc. and be proficient in automation.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage cloud network infrastructures in Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
2. Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure network security.
3. Manage Azure components including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Load Balancers, Route Tables, and DNS Zones and equivalent in GCP would be beneficial.
4. Develop and implement automation strategies for network management tasks.
5. Collaborate with the cloud engineering team to ensure seamless integration between network and cloud infrastructures.
6. Implement disaster recovery and network resiliency strategies in cloud networks.
7. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
8. Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
9.
Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders and team members.
10. Stay updated on new trends and advancements in the field of cloud networking and automation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related experience
2. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in IT with a focus on networking and site reliability.
3. Strong experience with Azure, AWS and GCP (beneficial).
4. Proficiency in Azure components including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Load Balancers, Route Tables, and DNS Zones.
5. Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
6. Strong knowledge of implementing disaster recovery and network resiliency strategies in cloud networks.
7. Proficiency in automation tools like GitHub/GitHub actions, terraform etc. and strategies.
8. Solid understanding of networking principles and technologies.
9. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
10. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Compensation: 70/hr to 80/hr CAD
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
