Pay Range: $55.00/hr $65/hr

We are seeking a Senior Production Support Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise production engineering, data platform operations, DevOps, and incident management and a proven ability to own production health, assure data quality, and drive continuous improvement across complex, distributed platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead L3 triage and resolution for incidents across a multi-pillar ERM platform, including data ingestion, workflow, Kafka, and infrastructure issues.
- Own Problem Records end to end in ServiceNow, including RCA, fixes, and documentation, and run daily SWAT reviews for escalations.
- Serve as primary L3 escalation, coordinate with development, middleware, DBA, and operations, and lead Major Incident Management for high-impact events.
- Own L3 operations of ERDL and the ERM Data Lake, including reconciliation, refresh monitoring, and Kafka lag oversight.
- Govern daily data quality checks including KRI and RA reconciliations, PRIVATE_IND checks, and status of full and incremental refreshes.
- Maintain knowledge of reporting layer authorities across RMD, ERDL Recon View, and ERDL Tableau Extract and apply them for reconciliation and reporting needs.
- Classify and escalate SLA Miss PRBs and maintain governance logs by upstream FLU.
- Document and maintain end-to-end data lineage across sources, Kafka, ERDL, and downstream consumers, applying data contract principles to resolve integration defects.
- Support ERDL refactoring and modernization, including Redis upgrades and Prod Parallel Deployment stabilization.
- Coordinate DevOps across DEV/SIT/UAT, manage weekly production releases,
and validate deployments via Harness and OpenShift with complete documentation.
- Drive CI/CD health across Lightspeed and GitHub, ensuring build integrity and security scan compliance.
- Lead cross-pillar initiatives such as framework upgrades, decommissions, certificate lifecycle management, and GitHub migrations.
- Own operational monitoring, automate anomaly detection and ticketing, and close monitoring gaps across identity and access dependencies.
- Enforce L3 standards, Developer Manifesto compliance, and adherence to risk, security, and regulatory controls.
- Apply AI-assisted analysis to accelerate RCA and translate outcomes into auditable Jira backlogs.
- Own onboarding for new applications, define runbooks and escalations, represent BAU health in governance forums, and mentor L3 engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years in production engineering, L3 support, data platform operations, or platform DevOps in large-scale environments.
- Proven leadership in production stability, data pipeline health, and cross-team coordination with strong incident and problem management.
- Hands-on experience across event-driven data pipelines, reconciliation, and multi-layer reporting architectures with clear RCA documentation.
- Working knowledge of data modeling, canonical models, schema evolution, data lineage, and data contract principles.
- Strong ITSM experience with ServiceNow across incident, problem, change, and governance workflows including MTP/PRJ modules.
- Release coordination expertise including runbooks, health validation, and stakeholder communication in regulated settings.
- Excellent communication and escalation management with the ability to represent technical and data quality status to leadership.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERDL or equivalent enterprise risk data layer platforms aggregating multi-source risk data.
- Familiarity with Kafka schema governance and event-driven integrations for limits, thresholds, KRIs, and model risk.
- Background supporting or onboarding agentic AI or GenAI-integrated applications and workflows.
- Experience implementing automated data quality monitoring and self-healing alerting frameworks.
- Knowledge of FAST automation, contract testing, or behavior-driven development practices.
- Familiarity with cloud modernization and container-native platform evolution in enterprise settings.
- Exposure to enterprise risk management concepts including governance, stress testing, and limits frameworks, plus Redis for caching and entitlements.
Technical Skills:
- Data Platform & Architecture: Kafka/JMS, Oracle, data lineage tooling, data contracts, Tableau/Superset, Elastic Search, MongoDB/Couchbase, Data Lake operations.
- Platform & Infrastructure: OpenShift/Kubernetes, Harness, Lightspeed, GitHub/Bitbucket, AppDynamics.
- Application & Integration: Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular/React for basic triage.
- Observability & Tooling: AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK/Kibana, SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, ServiceNow.
- Security & Compliance: CyberArk, CISAR, EEMS/EERS, CVM/CAMP, Hashicorp Vault, SSL/TLS lifecycle management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
