Responsibilities

- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to create tailored behavior intervention plans based on individual needs.
- Implement therapeutic strategies that encourage positive behaviors and skill development in children.
- Collect and analyze data on child progress to adjust interventions for optimal results.
- Support medication administration as prescribed by medical professionals, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
- Provide direct patient care by assisting children during therapy sessions, activities, and daily routines.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and behavioral observations.




- Educate caregivers and teachers on effective behavior management techniques and strategies for ongoing support.

Requirements

- Experience working with children in educational, clinical, or therapeutic settings.
- Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral intervention techniques.
- Ability to administer medication following medical guidelines when necessary.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to patient care and behavioral health.
- Excellent skills in data collection, record keeping, and progress tracking.
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with children and families.
- Certification or training in behavior analysis or related fields is a plus but not required.

Pay: $22.00-$40.06 per hour
