We are currently seeking a Relief Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy located approximately 2 hours west of Winnipeg, MB. This is a 6-month contract with an ASAP start, offering consistent full-time hours in a well-supported pharmacy environment.

Position Details
Position: Relief Pharmacist
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 Months
Hours: 40–50 hours per week
Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Pharmacy Environment
500–600 prescriptions per weekday
300–350 prescriptions per weekend day
Multiple pharmacists scheduled throughout the day:
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Excellent support staff:
9 Pharmacy Assistants on weekdays
5 Pharmacy Assistants on Saturdays
4 Pharmacy Assistants on Sundays
Responsibilities
Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions.
Provide medication counseling and patient education.
Deliver professional clinical services in accordance with provincial regulations.
Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy assistants,
and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Support workflow efficiency while maintaining exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Pharmacist in Manitoba.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume pharmacy.
Experience with Healthwatch is an asset but not required.
Comfortable working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
