Commercial Cleaner – Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

We’re a locally owned commercial cleaning company looking for 2 full-time and 1 part-time dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our growing team!

Most weekday shifts begin during evening hours, with weekend work also available. Shift times and lengths vary depending on the location, but regular employees can expect consistent weekly hours once assigned to ongoing sites.

What You’ll Do

- Perform detailed cleaning at a variety of commercial locations throughout Thunder Bay
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize surfaces
- Clean washrooms, offices, common areas and high-touch surfaces
- Empty garbage and recycling and restock supplies
- Complete specialized cleaning tasks such as debris removal and floor care
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment safely
- Follow site-specific cleaning checklists, company procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain clean, safe and organized work areas
- Work independently and as part of a team depending on the location
- Report supply shortages, damage or other issues or concerns to your supervisor
- Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality

What We’re Looking For

- Commercial or industrial cleaning experience is an asset, but not required
- Training is provided for the right person
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual and committed to quality work
- Able to work efficiently without cutting corners
- Comfortable working independently when required




- Able to follow instructions and adapt to different site needs
- Safety-conscious and willing to wear PPE as required
- Comfortable using a smartphone for work-related tasks
- Valid Ontario (G2 or higher) driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle are required
- Looking for consistent, long-term employment

This is an active position and requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, using stairs and handling cleaning equipment throughout the shift.

Starting Wage

$18.00 per hour

Applicants with directly related commercial cleaning experience may be considered for a starting wage of $19.00 per hour.

Wages are reviewed after the successful completion of the three-month probation period and as additional responsibility and experience are gained.
