The Morgan Centre is a growing private mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy services throughout Northern Ontario. We are seeking an experienced Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join our collaborative team on a part-time independent contractor basis.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys working independently while benefiting from the support of an established private practice. We offer a professional, collaborative environment, flexible scheduling, administrative support, and a steady referral base to help you build and maintain your caseload.

Position Details

Part-time Independent Contractor

Approximately 10–20 client hours per week, with opportunity for growth

Compensation: $100 per clinical hour

Flexible daytime, evening, and/or virtual scheduling available

In-person, virtual, or hybrid practice opportunities

Administrative and scheduling support provided

Established referral network

Qualifications

Applicants must:

Be a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) in valuable standing with the appropriate regulatory college.

Be eligible for independent practice.

Maintain professional liability insurance.

Demonstrate excellent assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.

Be committed to ethical, client-centred, evidence-based care.





Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Clinical Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered an asset:

Trauma and PTSD

EMDR

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

Anxiety and mood disorders

First Responders and Operational Stress Injuries

Indigenous and First Nations mental health

Couples counselling

WSIB, NIHB, Veterans, and workplace mental health
