Wonder Years Daycare Ltd. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator/Infant Toddler Educator (ECE/IT) to join our team at our childcare centre in Prince George, BC.

As an ECE/IT, you will play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where infants and toddlers can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to supporting children's development.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality care and education for infants and toddlers.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities in accordance with the BC Early Learning Framework.
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive setting that supports children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.
- Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Maintain accurate child records and communicate effectively with families.
- Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and centre policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.





Qualifications

Applicants must have:

- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate
- Valid BC Infant Toddler (IT) Educator Certificate
- Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Successful Criminal Record Check
- Strong knowledge of child development and the BC Early Learning Framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

Required: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator in a licensed childcare centre.
