Lead the Lands and Resources department for Yuuuluʔiłʔatḥ Government in Hitacu, BC. As a Senior Manager, drive strategic direction, oversight, and treaty-related responsibilities aligned with Executive priorities. This full time, permanent position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience, including 2-3 years in senior leadership.
You will oversee program management and departmental administration while ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and effective communication with Indigenous governments and community partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for lands and resources program management
- Oversee financial reporting and budget administration
- Manage recruitment, employee relations, and training
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
- Collaborate on strategic planning with the senior management team Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resources Management or related field
- 8-10 years in lands and resources management
- 2-3 years in senior management roles
- Proven experience with treaty implementation
