Position:- Receiving Clerk/Cashier

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Receiving Clerk / Cashier to join our supermarket team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving deliveries, checking inventory, stocking products, and assisting customers at the checkout counter. This role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

· Receive and inspect incoming deliveries and verify quantities against invoices or purchase orders.

· Unload, organize, and store products in designated areas.

· Ensure products are properly labeled and stocked on shelves.

· Maintain inventory accuracy and report damaged or missing items.

· Operate cash register and process cash, debit, and credit card transactions.

· Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with inquiries.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving and cashier areas.





· Follow store safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

· Previous experience in retail, supermarket, warehouse, or cashier role preferred.

· Having a valid G or G2 license is added advantage and should be able to lift 15–20 lb boxes.

· Valuable communication and customer service skills.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Must be punctual, dependable, and a team player.
