Gilbert Plains Co-op invites applications for a Full Time Permanent Agro Hardware Clerk.

The following position will be required to work weekends. Duties will include but are not limited to: sales, customer service, perform general housekeeping duties, merchandising and inventory management of the Co-op’s general merchandise (hardware, farm supplies, and feed) department. Assist with customer deliveries and in-store purchases that require loading.

Agro Hardware Clerk:

Responsibilities: Ensure all duties are adequately performed in a timely manner and a high level of customer service is provided, with a positive, skilled approach and attitude toward customers. You will be required to maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards. You have the ability to work outside in varying weather conditions and have the ability to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted. This position will report to the Gilbert Plains Co-op Agro Manager.

Qualifications:

· Experience operating a forklift (training can be provided)

· Ability to provide high level of customer service

· Knowledge of hardware,



farm/agricultural products, feed, and equipment would be an asset

· Previous sales experience would be an asset

· Previous merchandising and inventory management

- The ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
