Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with experience in wooden mould fabrication and concrete formwork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, and installing wooden moulds and structures that support concrete casting for construction projects. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and knowledge of construction practices are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wooden moulds and shuttering for concrete works.

- Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

- Construct, repair, and install formwork to ensure accurate alignment and dimensions.

- Prepare and set up moulds for concrete pouring, ensuring sturdiness and safety.

- Perform adjustments and modifications as required during concrete work.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.

- Collaborate with masons, site engineers, and other construction workers.

- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

- Follow workplace safety standards and site procedures.





Requirements

- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in construction and concrete mould/shuttering works.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.

- Proficient in measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures with accuracy.

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and carpentry techniques.

- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor/site conditions.

- Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in large-scale concrete formwork projects.

- Familiarity with different types of shuttering systems (timber, plywood, etc.).

- Basic knowledge of steel reinforcement placement.

Work Environment

- Construction sites, with tasks involving both indoor and outdoor conditions.

- Team-oriented team environment with site engineers and construction crews.
