Naturopathic Doctor – Integrative GI HealthJob Summary

Prairie Surgical is expanding its Integrative Health Team and is looking for a passionate and patient-focused Naturopathic Doctor to work alongside our growing team of Gastroenterologists and healthcare professionals.

This role focuses on supporting patients with digestive and chronic health conditions through evidence-informed natural therapies. You will work closely with our physicians to provide a whole-person approach to care, helping patients improve their health through nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements, stress management, and preventative medicine.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Assess patients referred by our Gastroenterologists and other specialists.
- Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based naturopathic medicine.
- Support patients with digestive conditions such as IBS, IBD, GERD, constipation, diarrhea, fatty liver disease, and other GI concerns.
- Provide guidance on nutrition, lifestyle, stress management, sleep, and natural therapies.
- Recommend appropriate supplements and natural treatments when indicated.
- Educate patients on long-term wellness and disease prevention.
- Document patient visits using our electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, dietitians,



and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
- Participate in the continued growth of Prairie Surgical's Integrative Health Program.

Qualifications

- Licensed Naturopathic Doctor eligible to practice in Manitoba.
- Strong interest in digestive health and integrative medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in gastrointestinal health is considered an asset but is not required.
