The Silver Springs Community Association is seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced dance instructors to join our growing recreational dance program. Our goal is to provide children with a fun, welcoming, and affordable environment where they can develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance.

We are currently seeking instructors with experience teaching children ages 3–12 years in one or more of the following disciplines:

- Pre-Dance
- Ballet
- Jazz
- Hip Hop
- Lyrical / Contemporary
- Acro Dance
- Musical Theatre

Applicants who are comfortable teaching multiple disciplines and a variety of age groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

What We're Looking For

Successful applicants will have:

- Previous experience teaching dance to children (required)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- An understanding of age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate instruction
- The ability to create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- A passion for helping children build confidence through movement
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Reliability,



professionalism, and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction

Whether students are dancing for fun or building a solid technical foundation, our goal is to help every child succeed.

Position Details

- Location: Silver Springs Community Association, Calgary, AB
- Season: September to June (following the school calendar)
- Schedule: Wednesday and/or Thursday 4:15pm - 6:45pm
- Employment: Part-time, Contract or Seasonal (depending on availability)
