Morson Edge is recruiting on behalf of Globotech Inc. for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support major Project Management Consulting (PMC) initiatives at Bruce Power. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex engineering projects within one of Canada's premier nuclear generating facilities while working alongside multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

- Provide senior mechanical engineering support for capital and sustaining projects.
- Develop, review, and approve mechanical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support engineering assessments, equipment modifications, and system upgrades.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, construction teams, and client stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with Bruce Power standards, CSA codes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support procurement activities, technical evaluations, and vendor reviews.




- Provide field engineering support during installation, commissioning, and project execution.
- Identify technical risks and recommend practical engineering solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership where required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario (mandatory).
- 8–10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
- Experience supporting nuclear, power generation, heavy industrial, or regulated infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience working on Bruce Power or other Canadian nuclear projects is considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of CSA, ASME, and applicable engineering codes and standards.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Bruce Power security clearance.

Preferred Experience

- Equipment modifications and plant design changes.
- Engineering Change Control processes.
- Construction and commissioning support.
- Multi-disciplinary project delivery.

Pay: $80.00-$90.00 per hour
