About the Opportunity
Join a well-established seafood processing operation in a hands-on leadership role. This position is ideal for an experienced production operator ready to step into leadership and grow into management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities on the plant floor
- Work alongside teams to maintain output and efficiency
- Assist with line setup and coordination
- Monitor workflow across product lines
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are met
- Support shift organization and problem-solving
- Work with QA on product decisions and rework
- Take on increasing leadership responsibility over time
Required Experience
- 7–13 years seafood production experience
- Strong knowledge of fish species and product formats
- Experience in plant production environments
- Ability to guide or support team members
- Robust operational awareness
Requirements
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Leadership mindset
