We are an ENT specialist clinic located in Markham. We are looking for a professional, patient-focused individual to join our Medical Office. - Job Title: Part-Time Hybrid Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
- Location Requirements: Days on site as needed, 3 days working from home (remote) per week.
- Hours: Part time, at least 21 hours per week.
- Pay Rate: Commensurate on experience

Key Responsibilities

Remote Work-From-Home Duties (3 Days/Week)

- Patient Scheduling: Confirm appointment bookings, book/reschedule patient appointments, and manage automated clinic reminders using EMR software.
- Fax Management: Process incoming office faxes and file them to digital patient chart

On-Site Clinic Duties (as needed basis)

- Patient Check-In: Greet arriving patients, verify health insurance or provincial cards, and manage front-desk reception flow.
- Clinical Support:



Prepare examination rooms, sanitize equipment according to safety standards, and handle physical intake documents.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 1+ years working in a medical, dental, or allied healthcare office workplace.
- Software Skills: Hands-on experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably Accuro
- Technical Setup: A quiet, private home office space with high-speed internet to ensure complete compliance with privacy laws (PIPEDA/HIPAA) while remote.
- Core Competencies: Clear verbal communication, exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service skill, solid grasp of basic medical terminology, and strong typing speed (50+ WPM)
- Current vulnerable sector check
- Required Language: English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
