Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety standards, excellent food preparation skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will contribute to delivering high-quality meals that satisfy our guests and uphold our restaurant’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety




- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food service industry

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
