Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking aSenior Solutions Architectfor their Healthcare Canada Public Sector team, serving customers across the Canadian Prairies from Calgary, Alberta. This senior-level role places you at the centre of a major technology transformation in Canadian healthcare.As an SA, you will own customer technical engagements, diving deep with them and being hands‑on with technology. You will work with customers to set up resilient, secure, high-performing AWS solutions.

The SA possesses technical and business acumen that enables engagement at all levels of an organization, plus the ability to dive deep and build optimally. You will be comfortable presenting on complex software architectures to engineers but also explaining such concepts to non-technical executives. You will author whitepapers and reference architectures, deliver technical webinars, speak at public events, and file patents for what could potentially be future features/products.Key ResponsibilitiesOwning technical engagements at all levelsRemoving technical account management barriersDefining implementation and transition architecturesLeading RFI and RFP technical responsesHelping customers achieve project and overall technical successAssisting strategic solution providers with AWS‑oriented definitions and implementationsDeveloping and delivering presentations, discussions, product demos, sample solutions, blog posts, and white papersWorking closely with account managers and business developers to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications,



software and services on the AWS cloudSupporting and promoting AWS consulting and technology partnersGaining industry recognition as a regular attendee, panelist and keynote speaker at AWS and third‑party technology conferencesCapturing and sharing knowledge with the broader AWS Solutions Architecture communityBasic Requirements10+ years of specific technology domain areas experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)10+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experienceCloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticalsUnderstanding of government compliance, security frameworks and regulationsExperience working in healthcare or with healthcare customersStrong verbal and written communication skills (English)Compensation & Perks

Base salary: $146,000 – $211,600 CAD annually. Total compensation package may include sign‑on payments and RSUs.
