Our professionals focus on our clients’ business and industry issues, collaborate on cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and optimize the core tax functions of our clients – all while delivering digitally-enabled business tax services in conjunction with our tax technology teams. Serve as a Performance Advisor, mentor or coach to one or more employees, which will include providing honest and timely performance feedback Provide detailed review and analysis of tax returns Assist the assurance team with tax provision reviews and prepare and review tax provision working papers for non-assurance clients Manage risk for the client and the firm Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and tax accounting Reviewing research findings and ensure conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professional standards Assist with new business development,



extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law Some travel may be required Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Accounting or related field of study Working towards or completion of Masters of Tax or CPA In-depth Tax Program 8+ years of experience in Public Accounting preferably in a tax focused role Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements Working knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and technical aspects of tax compliance and accounting Strong technical skills in tax preparation, developing tax focus areas Experience in dealing with international tax matters and tax review a plus We offer flexibility in your schedule, empowering you to balance life’s demands, while also maintaining your ability to serve clients. sincerely held religious beliefs, practices or observances; sex (including pregnancy or disabilities related to nursing); national origin; physical or mental disability; medical condition (including family and medical leave); domestic violence victim status; Accommodation for applicants with disabilities is available upon request in connection with the recruitment process and/or employment/partnership.
