MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst for a 12-month contract role (with the possibility of extension) with a public sector client of ours located in the Greater Victoria BC area. Candidates must be local to Victoria (or Vancouver Island) with the ability to work in a hybrid work model. Scope of Work - Lead technical business analysis activities across the full project lifecycle - Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements - Facilitate requirements workshops with business and technical teams - Develop and maintain standard project artefacts (scope, process flows, test plans, operating models) - Support solution design, data requirements, system integration, and SDLC alignment - Coordinate system and user acceptance testing (UAT) - Contribute to program planning and delivery activities - Recommend and document process improvements and future state designs Project Context / Technology - Municipal operational technology initiatives (Public Works focus) - Systems such as SCADA, GIS, asset management, Routeware - Strong preference for experience with Microsoft M365 ecosystem - Exposure to cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and integration environments Required Profile - Senior Technical BA with 5+ years experience (more preferred) - Strong technical awareness: data,
