The Captain's Boil Vaughan is currently hiring part-time and full-time servers with 1-year experience. Must have a Smart serve certification, be available day or evening, weekdays and weekends. Must have customer service experience and good communication skills. Must be a team player, be efficient, have a great personality, and work in a high pace environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties




- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with food handling regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while delivering exceptional customer service
- Assist in setting up and cleaning work areas, including bar stations and dining spaces
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns or special requests
- Follow all food safety protocols and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times

Experience

- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in hospitality or food service industry that demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills
