Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations




- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials to answer guest questions confidently
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety regulations and sanitation standards for guest health and safety

Experience

- Prior food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in food industry roles including serving, cashiering, or kitchen support is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and guest satisfaction
