Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming setting from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular dishes or specials
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering responsibilities, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change




- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, responding promptly to any concerns or requests to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations and restaurant policies

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables without compromising quality or guest satisfaction
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling menu items and cash handling demonstrates initiative and sales skills
- Basic math skills for accurate billing, change calculation, and transaction processing
