Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and food preparation areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, ensuring excellent guest services and resolving any concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate order entry, check splitting, and cash handling
- Experience in hospitality or customer service roles that involve serving guests or managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously is advantageous
