The Role

We're looking for a Flooring Design Consultant to join our team and help customers navigate one of the most significant decisions in any home project: choosing the right flooring.

This isn't just ringing through sales. You'll get to know each customer's space, style, and budget, and guide them toward flooring that actually fits their life — whether that's a growing family needing something durable, a first-time renovator overwhelmed by options, or a design-savvy client chasing a very specific look.

What You'll Do

- Meet with customers to understand their space, style, and needs
- Recommend flooring options across our curated product lines — and explain the why behind each one
- Help customers visualize how a product will actually look and perform in their home




- Build lasting relationships with customers and our local trade community
- Stay current on flooring trends, materials, and installation considerations
- Support the team with quotes, orders, and day-to-day store operations

What We're Looking For

- Someone personable, curious, and genuinely interested in home design
- Comfortable talking with all kinds of customers — first-timers and seasoned renovators alike
- Detail-oriented enough to get measurements, quotes, and orders right
- A team player who's happy to pitch in wherever the day needs it
- Flooring or design experience is a bonus, not a requirement — we'll teach you the product knowledge. What matters most is the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
