Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Floor Manager to lead our team in delivering customer service and operations management. As a key leader on the floor, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, ensure safety standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your leadership will drive team success, streamline fuel service processes, and uphold the highest standards of daily operations.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth fueling experiences, and customer service
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service, and maintain high quality standards of the retail store and gas pumps
- Manage POS systems such as Bulloch BT9000 for accurate cash handling, retail purchases, and fuel management
- Handle any issues related to the POS or the pumps including technical issues or payment processing issues
- Monitor daily activities including stocking,
organizing, merchandising, cleaning, and upholding quality standards of the store at all times
- Provide training and ongoing coaching on customer service and adequate cleanliness and organization of the store
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive experience for all guests
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in retail or gas station environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Bulloch Technologies and cash handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Ability to prioritize appropriately in stressful situations
- Experience in organization of retail merchandise
- Previous gas station experience is highly desirable
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
