Duties
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and identify their needs through active listening and consultation
- Demonstrate plumbing products, including fixtures, fittings, and renovation materials, using product demos and detailed explanations
- Assist customers with selecting appropriate solutions for renovation or construction projects, offering expert advice on specifications and compatibility
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage inside sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cashing out, and process payments accurately
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that highlight product features and promote high-end sales
- Collaborate with the team to develop marketing strategies aimed at increasing showroom traffic and product awareness
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales, preferably within the plumbing, renovation, or construction industry
- Solid communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with SketchUp or CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for assisting customers with project planning
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Experience with negotiation techniques to close sales effectively and upsell products confidently
- Understanding of renovation processes and construction practices to advise customers accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to manage product displays, inventory levels, and customer appointments
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficiently
