Radium North Inc. is seeking a motivated, hands-on Skilled Labourer / Equipment Operator – Foreman to lead our Canada Post Community Mailbox installation crews throughout Calgary and Southern Alberta.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, leading a crew, and taking pride in delivering quality projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a field crew installing Canada Post Community Mailboxes.
- Coordinate daily and weekly work schedules to maximize productivity.
- Conduct site visits before work begins to review site conditions and prepare crew schedules.
- Ensure all installations meet engineered drawings, work orders, and quality standards.
- Perform quality assurance inspections and resolve deficiencies.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on every job site.
- Operate equipment and assist with all aspects of installation as required.
- Communicate effectively with project management, customers, and crew members.
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Be willing to work flexible hours when required to accommodate weather conditions and project schedules.

Qualifications

- Previous experience leading construction or civil crews.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience operating construction equipment is highly preferred, including:
- Excavators
- Skid Steers
- Wheel Loaders
- Picker Trucks




- Experience towing and hauling equipment trailers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and work orders.
- Experience with layout, grading, excavation, and site preparation is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (clean driver's abstract required).
- Class 3 or air brake endorsement is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically capable of lifting, digging, and performing manual labour as required.
