Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of lawn and garden equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment in a quick paced environment.

Duties:

- Performs diagnostics and repairs on 2-cycle and 4 cycle lawn/garden equipment.
- Use dealer portals to look up parts required for repairs
- Participates in service training programs required.
- Maintains current knowledge of products.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations.
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Accounts for all time and for all material used in performing assigned tasks.

Skills and Requirements:

- Experience as a small engine technician.




- Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of lawn and garden equipment.
- Ability to use computer for parts lookup functions.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Professionalism when communicating with clients.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.

Education:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
