Overview

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Grocery Store Clerk to join our team in Cranbrook. You will be the face of our store, helping customers, keeping shelves stocked, and ensuring a clean shopping workplace.

· Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and help them find products.

· Stocking & Merchandising: Rotate inventory using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.

· Front-End Support: Operate the cash register and process payments accurately.

· Store Maintenance: Keep aisles clean, organized, and free of debris.

· Lifting & Handling: Comfortably lift boxes up to 40 lbs.

· Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but we will train the right candidate.

· Skills: Strong communication skills and basic math skills for cash handling.

· Certificates: Serving It Right and Food Safe Level 1 are mandatory.

· Attributes: Reliable team player with a positive attitude.

· Minimum Age: 19 years

· Vehicle: necessary as Gold Creek Market is located half kilometer outside the city of Cranbrook, in the Gold Creek area of the Regional District of East Kootenay.
