Overhead Door Company of Calgary is a leading distributor of commercial and residential overhead door systems. We supply and service high-quality overhead doors, operators, loading dock equipment, and access solutions for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential customers.

We are looking for an ambitious Commercial Outside Sales Representative to join our Calgary team. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who enjoys developing new business, managing key accounts, and working with contractors, builders, property managers, architects, and facility owners.

What You'll Do

- Develop new commercial business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, engineers, property managers, and end users.
- Identify customer needs and recommend commercial overhead door, loading dock, and access solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotations and project estimates from plans, specifications, and site visits.
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications.
- Conduct site visits to gather project information and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Coordinate projects with estimating, operations, and installation teams to ensure successful execution.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
- Monitor project progress and maintain communication with customers throughout the sales process.
- Represent the company professionally at job sites, industry events, and customer meetings.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in commercial construction, building products,



overhead doors, or a related industry.
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage long-term customer relationships.
- Experience reading blueprints and construction specifications.
- Strong understanding of the commercial construction process is an asset.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical products.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid Alberta driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the Calgary region.
