Female Health Care Aide / Caregiver – Palliative & Dementia Care

Location: Bearspaw, Rocky View County, AB
Pay: $20.00/hour (Contract Position)
Start Date: Immediate

#1 AAA Home Care Services is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Female Health Care Aide/Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in a private home located in Bearspaw, Rocky View County.

Please Note: This location is not accessible by public transit. Applicants must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive to and from the client's home.

Schedule

- Days: Saturdays & Sundays
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (6.5-hour shifts)
- Every weekend, with one weekend off per month
- Immediate start available

About the Client

You will be caring for a female client who requires:

- Severe dementia care
- End-of-life (palliative) care
- Total care
- Two-person transfers and assistance
- Compassionate, patient, and dignified support throughout all aspects of daily living

A female caregiver is preferred to best meet the client's care needs.

Qualifications

- Health Care Aide Certificate (or equivalent experience)
- Experience providing dementia and palliative care
- Comfortable providing total personal care




- Able to work effectively as part of a two-person care team
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (required)
- Fluent in English (required)
- German language skills are considered a robust asset
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a dog

Experience:

- Hospice palliative care: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- HCA (required)
