Job Overview
We are currently seeking a compassionate and caring Personal Support Worker who is passionate about enhancing the well-being of seniors. This role focuses on providing meaningful companionship and engaging clients in enjoyable activities that promote social connection, independence, and overall quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment where seniors feel valued and encouraged.

Duties
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Plan, develop, and implement diverse activities
- Facilitate group and one-on-one activities (e.g., games, music, crafts, exercise, outings)
- Adapt programs to accommodate varying physical and cognitive abilities
- Encourage participation and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment
- Monitor and document client participation, engagement, and responses

Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience in patient care such as hospital settings, nursing homes, Retirement homes, Home Care is preferred.
- PSW Certification
- Diploma or certification in Recreation Therapy, Activation,



Gerontology, or related field (preferred)
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with diverse needs (e.g., dementia, disabilities)
- Creative, energetic, and compassionate approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- English / French Language
