Cook — Chanterelle (Halcyon Hot Springs)

Chanterelle is an upscale casual dining restaurant at Halcyon Hot Springs in the Kootenays, known for elevated, seasonally-driven cuisine in a stunning mountain setting. We’re looking for an experienced cook to join our kitchen team.

What You’ll Do

Prep and execute dishes to spec with consistency, speed, and attention to detail

Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organization standards throughout the kitchen

Work collaboratively with the chef and kitchen team to deliver a high-quality dining experience

Manage multiple orders and stations efficiently during busy service periods

Assist with inventory, receiving, and stock rotation as needed

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a fine dining or high-volume professional kitchen

Strong knife skills and solid understanding of cooking techniques (sauces, proteins, plating)





Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency

FOODSAFE certification (or willingness to obtain)

A team player with a strong work ethic and passion for food

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant service

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
