In this role, you'll play a crucial part in the layout, fabrication, installation, and completion of specialized structures and outfit items, while utilizing a variety of tools and equipment. Responsibilities:

- Perform layout, fabrication, installation for structures and outfit items using hand tools, grinders, presses, and other equipment.
- Read and interpret Work Packages, Blueprints, Accuracy Control Reports, and Quality Control Reports
- Meet fabrication quality standards and uphold safety standards
- Maintain a safe working environment, including working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions
- Use a variety of tools and measuring devices effectively

Qualifications:

- Metal Fabricator or Boilermaker Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement or equivalent provincial or international trade qualification
- Minimum of 30 months documented metal fabrication experience.
- Ability to qualify to wear a respirator




- Proficiency in working in complex environments and meeting physical demands
- Willingness to accept candidates with less experience on a case-by-case basis, based on specific requests

We will consider candidates willing to get certified/re-certified. No relocation provided.

Pay Rate: $52.00-$58.00 per hour plus welfare, pension and tool allowance (Union environment)

In office in Victoria, BC 5 days per week
