Job description
- Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements (Internal - External).
- Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to achieve throughout the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and
- conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).
- Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
- Is part of the Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases.
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, or a related field.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a aerospace environment.
- You possess strong negotiation skills and are able to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- You have a solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
- You are comfortable working in a cross-functional, multidisciplinary workplace and collaborating with teams such as Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Program Management.
- You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- You are recognized for your organizational skills, autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is considered an asset.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Previous experience in the aerospace, aviation, or manufacturing industry is considered a strong asset.
