Position Summary

The Floral Production Runner is a physically active position responsible for moving buckets and boxes of flowers from the cooler to the bouquet production lines. The role involves frequent lifting, loading and pushing of buckets & carts, and keeping the production lines continuously supplied throughout the shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is a hands-on, physically active position involving frequent lifting and moving of flower products throughout the shift.

· Keep production lines stocked with flowers and other required products.

· Load dollies and carts with buckets and boxes of flowers and deliver flower products from the cooler to the bouquet assembly lines.

· Frequently lift and transfer buckets of flowers weighing 5–14 kg (11–31 lbs), generally over short distances.

· Handle boxes weighing up to 16 kg (35 lbs).

· Lift buckets and boxes from carts to approximately waist height.

· Place bouquets into pails, pails into boxes,



then load & label for packing & shipment

· Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

· Follow all company health and safety procedures.

· Work in a temperature-controlled cooler environment.

Qualifications

· Able to perform repetitive physical work, including frequent lifting, transferring, pushing, walking, and standing.

· Able to lift buckets and boxes weighing up to 16 kg (35 lbs) to approximately waist height.

· Comfortable working at a steady pace in a production environment.

· Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

· Able to work independently and as part of a team.

· Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

· English and Spanish communication skills are a strong asset.

· Previous warehouse or production experience is an asset but is not required.
