Some people enjoy having the same responsibilities every day.
Others thrive on variety. They love bringing order to complexity, coordinating multiple priorities, solving problems, and helping teams succeed. They're naturally organized, resourceful, and adaptable and they're often the person everyone turns to when something needs to move forward.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Construction Safety Nova Scotia (CSNS) is seeking an Operations Coordinator to provide administrative and coordination support across a variety of organizational functions. Reporting to the Director, Quality and Innovation, you'll support projects, operational initiatives, and day-to-day business activities while working closely with leaders and teams across the organization.
This role is designed to provide flexible support wherever it's needed. From coordinating projects and maintaining documentation to supporting facilities, procurement, administrative processes, and organizational initiatives, you'll play an important role in helping the organization operate efficiently and effectively.
No two days will look exactly the same and that's exactly what makes this role rewarding.
Are you ready to:
- Coordinate projects and operational initiatives by organizing schedules, tracking deliverables, and following up on action items?
- Support multiple departments by providing administrative and coordination assistance wherever it's needed to keep work moving forward?
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, trackers, and reports that support informed decision-making and organizational effectiveness?
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, communications, and information sharing across teams and stakeholders?
- Help support operational functions including facilities, procurement, vendor coordination, and other administrative activities?
- Identify issues, remove roadblocks where possible, and escalate concerns appropriately to help projects and operational work stay on track?
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and confidently shift between projects and responsibilities as organizational needs evolve?

Whether you're coordinating an organizational initiative, helping another department through a busy period, arranging vendor services, supporting facilities, preparing reports, or solving an unexpected administrative challenge, you bring structure, reliability, and momentum to the work around you.
Simply put, you help make the organization more effective.
Do you have what it takes?
You're someone who enjoys being busy, learning new things, and supporting a wide variety of work. You're equally comfortable organizing a project, solving an operational problem, coordinating logistics, or stepping in to help another team.
You don't need to know everything but you're confident you can figure things out.
What you bring:
