We are seeking manufacturing machine operators and assemblers with experience for our busy client in Ottawa's south end. This is a full-time position in a manufacturing-based environment.

Shifts:

- Days - 7:00am to 3:30pm and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday
- Evenings - 3:30pm-2:00am Monday to Thursday (NOTE: Public transit does not operate after midnight, so you must have your own vehicle to work this shift)

Key job responsibilities:

- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies
- Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
- Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts
- Work in a variety of departments (Paint, Masking, NPC, PEM, Packaging, Assembly)
- Comply with safety rules and regulations during course of duties
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products




- Independently perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Comply with engine manuals, technical data and work instruction for all machining operations
