Job Overview

MacDougall Steel Erectors Inc. is seeking experienced Specialty Metals Welders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating, assembling, and welding stainless steel and aluminum components while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings.
- Fabricate and assemble stainless steel and aluminum components according to specifications.
- Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on stainless steel and aluminum components.
- Conduct finish work including grinding, polishing, and passivation as required.
- Operate hoists, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
- Inspect welds to ensure structural soundness and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years experience welding stainless steel and aluminum in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques specific to non-ferrous metals.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings.
- Experience with layout, fitting, and fabrication of stainless steel & aluminum structures.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and best practices.




- Ability to operate fabrication machinery, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48.0 per week
