Cleve’s Source for Sports has been East Coast owned and operated for over 75 years and we are looking to grow our team! Our Saint John retail store is currently seeking results-driven Sales Associates to join our team.

Our Sales Associates work closely with our customers to identify product needs, answer questions and recommend the right solutions. We pride ourselves on helping every customer find the gear that's right for their game, so a passion for these sports and an understanding of equipment, fit and performance will help you provide the best possible experience.

They also work with Store Managers to promptly resolve customer issues and ensure maximum satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features.

Ultimately, the duties of a Sales Associate are to strive for excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome customers to the store and encourage an inviting sales environment
- Help customers find the right equipment to fit their game,



skill level and goals by offering knowledgeable, personalized recommendations
- "Go the extra mile" to drive sales
- Remain knowledgeable on all product offerings and discuss available options
- Build productive, trust-based relationships with customers

Requirements

- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate or similar role
- A strong knowledge of hockey and/or baseball is a major asset.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English
- Basic math skills
- Team-based mentality
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Availability to work flexible shifts (evenings and weekends)

Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent Pay: $15.90-$17.50 per hour
