This role is required to provide active site leadership on assigned projects. Travel is a requirement of the role.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead full-scope field execution across multiple construction disciplines, crews, subcontractors, and site leaders.
- Translate project schedules and objectives into practical daily, weekly, and look-ahead execution plans.

- Oversee quality execution, including inspection and test plans, installation verification, redlines, turnover documentation, and deficiency closeout.
- Monitor productivity, earned value, progress, and milestone performance, contributing to reporting and recovery planning when required.

- Represent field operations in client meetings, site walkthroughs, coordination meetings, and project performance updates.
- Coach and mentor construction managers, general foremen, and emerging field leaders while reinforcing accountability, planning discipline, and consistent execution.

Key Qualifications

- 10 years of progressive experience in utility, industrial, or infrastructure construction.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multidisciplinary construction scopes and high-value projects.
- Proven progression from field supervision into integrated construction or craft leadership.
- Strong knowledge of field execution, craft planning, subcontractor coordination, resource management, and site logistics.
- Experience using productivity measurements, earned value tracking, and project performance reporting.
- Working commercial awareness and an understanding of how field decisions affect schedule and cost.
- Advanced experience with construction-management and scheduling platforms such as Procore, SAP, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
- Diploma or degree in construction management, engineering technology, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered.
- Valid driver's licence and the ability to travel or work at active and potentially remote project sites.

Key Elements of the Role This position offers the opportunity to lead significant construction scopes, influence project strategy, and develop the next generation of field leaders. Strong performance may lead to broader responsibility for higher-complexity projects, deeper commercial and administrative involvement, and leadership of multidisciplinary or multisite portfolios.
