Position: Commercial Lines Broker – Transportation & Trucking

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Shift-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $40,000 – $60,000 annual salary

One of our clients is seeking a professional and client-focused Commercial Lines Broker – Transportation & Trucking to join their growing team in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, you will build and manage a portfolio of commercial transportation and trucking clients while delivering customized insurance solutions tailored to the needs of fleets, owner-operators, and logistics companies.

Responsibilities

· Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial transportation and trucking clients

· Develop customized insurance solutions for fleets, owner-operators, and logistics companies

· Assess client risks and recommend appropriate commercial insurance coverage

· Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurance carrier partners

· Negotiate coverage terms, premiums,



and renewals with insurance providers

· Provide ongoing account management and exceptional customer service

· Stay informed on transportation industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes

· Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities

· Maintain accurate client records and ensure policy documentation is up to date

Qualifications & Requirements

· Alberta Level 1 Insurance License (required)

· Previous experience of 2-3years in commercial lines insurance or transportation/trucking insurance is considered an asset

· Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

· Self-motivated with a results-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset

· Ability to work independently while managing multiple client accounts

· Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

· Proficiency with standard office software and insurance management systems is an asset

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
