Description:

Home Instead is looking for certified, Personal Support Workers (PSW), 2nd year Nursing Students, and Registered Nurses (RN). Those with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to make sure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own home.

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Duties include but are not limited to:

_ Companionship_
Hygiene Assistance
_ Home Management_
Meal Preparation
_ Light Housekeeping_
Shopping & Errands
_ Medication cueing_
Personal care assistance





_ Keeping accurate records of care Properly maintain communication regarding: -Client activities -Progress -Concerns_ Treat & care for clients & their property with dignity & respect Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

Requirements to be a Caregiver:

Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check
Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references
Complete our mandatory paid caregiver orientation

*Previous personal care experience is required/or the willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting*

Part-Time & Casual hours available. We have a variety of shifts available, as we are available 24/7 for our clients!
