Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Worker specializing in roofing to join our energetic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems using sheet metal materials. Responsibilities

- Measure and cut sheet metal materials accurately according to blueprints and project specifications
- Install roofing panels, flashing, gutters, and other sheet metal components with precision
- Use hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and seamers to shape and secure materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure proper installation
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project needs
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofing systems




- Collaborate with carpenters, general contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate work efforts

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools used in sheet metal fabrication and roofing installation
- Construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades
- Strong carpentry skills for framing support and material fitting
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with caulking for sealing joints and seams effectively
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working at heights
- Handyman experience demonstrating versatility across various construction tasks
