Become a vital part of Upper Canada Village as a Student Historical Interpreter. Engage guests by interpreting early Canadian military history, focusing on the War of 1812 and Crysler’s Farm. In this student role, you will work at a renowned tourist destination 11 km east of Morrisburg.

You’ll assist with school programs and other youth groups while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Performing physical duties and embodying inclusivity principles are key aspects of this position. Key Responsibilities:

- Represent Upper Canada Village to visitors effectively
- Interpret key historical events including the War of 1812
- Assist educational programs for visiting youth groups
- Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly
- Demonstrate military drills and role-playing skills Requirements:
- Solid communication skills with diverse groups
- Interest in early Canadian military history
- Ability to perform physical demonstrations
- Willingness to wear historical costumes
- Independent worker with safety training knowledge Your engagement will enrich visitor experiences and bring history to life at Upper Canada Village.
