We are working with a well-known, long-established firm in Calgary and are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Corporate Legal Services to lead a dynamic team supporting the firm’s tax and business law corporate transactions. In this role, you will oversee department workflow, assign work based on paralegal expertise, provide mentorship, and drive professional development and training, while also handling senior paralegal responsibilities with lawyers and clients as needed. The position involves managing complex corporate files, including incorporations, amalgamations, acquisitions, private placements, takeovers, and other corporate reorganizations, as well as due diligence, documentation, and compliance with Alberta and federal legislation.



The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma, CORES III certification, at least 10 years of progressively responsible paralegal experience, and a proven track record in leadership, supervision, and process improvement. Robust communication, problem-solving, and client service skills, along with a collaborative and confident leadership style, are essential for success in this role.
